Museum of Classical Yoga
The Shri Yogendra Museum of Classical Yoga at The Yoga Institute is the world’s first yoga museum, dedicated to preserving the depth, philosophy, and history of classical yoga. Inaugurated in 1987 by Then President of India Shri Giani Zail Singh, the museum presents a thoughtfully curated journey through the evolution of yoga and its many paths. Explore exhibits on Raja Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Mantra Yoga, Tantra Yoga, Kriyas, and the traditional structure of asanas, along with rare personal artifacts of Shri Yogendra Ji, historical displays, and authentic yogic tools that reflect the Institute’s enduring contribution to the world of yoga.
